Streets of New Orleans 

God blessed our feet with blisters 

Created to be… 

…Brave! 

Psalm one thirty-nine 

We’re formed in sacred darkness 

Grown like planted seeds 

…Authentic! 

Jacob v. Esau 

Not made to be someone else 

Only our own self 

…Free! 

Speak to all the crowd 

Free to be our fullest self 

Beyond assumptions  

…Disruptive! 

Who sets unfair rules? 

Stand up to the status quo 

We are not mistakes 

…Disciples! 

Jesus leads the way 

We follow where He steps, like 

footprints in the snow
