Cora, 10th grade

As I started my first day of the youth gathering, I found myself not taking everything seriously. I thought it was fun, but I didn’t really understand why everyone was so excited and jumping with joy at these mass gatherings. But confidently by the end I was joining in, enjoying the true meaning of God. I found it the most interesting watching these speeches, to figure out these people's lives and how they were so different from mine. I never knew the things I learned on this trip. It was truly an eye-opening experience and moment. I wish it could’ve been frozen in time.
